Robert P. Meyer earned a degree in Fine Arts from Arizona State University in 1972. Meyer established his art studio early in his career. After two decades as an artist and designer, he turned his design skills and fine arts background to etching, sandblasting and sand-carving.

Over the last ten years, Meyer has created custom pieces for home and commercial use across the country, including monuments, awards and trophies, and glass works. He has engraved custom awards for the DC Ranch Golf Tournaments, designed custom tile signage for the City of Tempe and has created original glass art pieces for various multi-million-dollar homes.

A Corel Draw certified Training Partner for five years and a factory-trained laser engraver, Meyer generously shares his expertise and knowledge with fellow artists, graphic designers and commercial business owners interested in expanding their skill sets, creating additional types of art and increasing their array of services.

Inspired by the high demand for custom work within the etching and sandblasting industry and the low number of highly-experienced individuals trained to provide his level of service, Meyer developed Sandblast U to introduce beginners to new career choices, help designers increase their marketability, and train fine artists in new skills with commercial appeal.
